in the summer), many hiking trails,
two stores, and a Pioneer History
Center that features a collection of
buildings from Yosemite National
Park's past. Nearby is the Mariposa
Grove of Giant Sequoias, which can
be accessed by shuttle from the
Wawona store or at the grove, which
has limited parking. Guided tours on
open trams are available in the grove
during the summer

the area of the Merced River

West ranges from 5200 ft. to 6200 ft.
with cool summers and beautiful
snow-covered winters. Services are
just a short distance away in either
Yosemite Valley or Wawona.
